Reels is a tape emulation plugin that replicates the lo-fi analog sound of vintage reel-to-reel tape recorders, complete with imperfections such as harmonic distortion, wow/flutter, volume drops, crosstalk, hiss, and motor noise. It includes an echo section and tape start/stop effects, allowing users to add retro character to their mixes. The plugin is not intended for high-fidelity mastering but rather for achieving a rough, retro sound.
